The National Peanut Festival is here! It’s a boisterous and fun way to step into the cooler season of the year. Grab your boiled peanuts to find out what it was like for this newbie here in Dothan, Alabama! This gal got to see just exactly what this festival was all about, and with the people here who love it so much too.
While dressed in style with ENewton, having family by my side, there was so much to do that night at the festival! We got to see the petting zoo, try the food, and visit vendors that are there here all this week too. Besides seeing all the local attractions at this fun event, my family and I were able to ride on all kinds of attractions there. It was amazing!
The Peanut Festival’s theme this year was about honoring the farmers in the Wiregrass Area. It’s interesting to see what a festival has and means to the local community of this town. Especially because I too have family around here, their whole life is agriculture and serving others.
Afterward, we got to try Krewe of Kolosse’s food truck. It was delicious! Luckily they are right here in Dothan too, I’ll drop their website below for y’all. Overall, the entire was incredible, especially with fireworks at the end that concluded the night. There is a huge photo drop of what was there along with what my family and I saw!
